The technique used to weave my baskets is called Double Wall. Traditionally a western Cherokee technique, many modern basket weavers have grown fond of weaving in this manner.

Each basket here has two walls. Although it takes twice as long to make a basket, I have discovered two terrific advantages to this technique. Each basket is very sturdy and can hold anything. Also, I can weave the outside different from the inside. The possibilities are endless!
